New battery for an old camera

With the increasing "megapixels" of the digital cameras nowadays, my 3.2 mp Kyocera SL300R seems to be an antique (Hey even a Sony Ericsson K800i has a 3.2MP camera....)

But hey why do we need such a high resolution camera? Unless you want to print your photos up to banner size and put them up outside your flat for the whole world to see your latest pimple/acne right at the entrance of your nostrils, 3.2mp will suffice for my needs..

Well except for the underperforming battery that came with the camera, my camera has served me well (it has been to US and HK) and to tell you the truth i adore it!

To make up for that underperforming trait (lousy batt), i told Bobo about this shop somewhere in town (yes Bobo has the same camera as me...used to be ah wai though.....hmmm) and he went to the shop and bought a 3rd party spare battery for me. From his expert "review", the battery seems to be better and can last longer.....

Can't wait to use it....please don't disappoint me.....

It has been 1.5 years since i last blogged here.
Been back in USA since my last blog and slogged my guts out...completed my bond and VIOLA...
I am still with my first company and might be going to USA again (same place..........)

i bet nobody has visited my blog since 2006 (not many people visited it when it was active anyway) so i might just change the focus of the blog....instead of just what i am doing in USA and my daily life (super boring)....and some ugly pictures of myself....i might just blog about Southampton Football CLub (not that much more exciting but i LOOVVVEE them) and STI....

Of course my love life tooo....if i ever have any.....

My First NFL game

My First NFL Game

Ok guys, i will have to skip the Chicago and Indianapolis photos and fast-forward to the last week. I will post the photos and stories sometime next week (i hope)....hahaha

Anyway, was given tickets to the NFL game between the CINCINNATI BENGALS and THE BILLS (i think was from Buffulo).

Oh well...i know the Bengals well....as i used to say...DO WHAT THE ROMANS DO....but...i can never get round to liking baseball...lucky it's not to a baseball game..hahaha

Anyway, in case you guys do not know football, the rulez are pretty complicated. I guess all u need to know is that every teams has 4 chances to go 10 yards (1st down, 2nd down, 3rd down, 4th down). If by the 4th down the team with the ball still had not carried the ball for 10 yards, it will be turned over to the other team. Pretty simple? Well there are terms like sacks, fumbles, interceptions, offsides, pass interferences and blar blar blar. There are also coaches challenges where the coaches can throw RED FLAGS into the field of play and challenge the referees' decisions. The ref will then go and review the videos....hope soccer has this ....but well.....the unfairness helps keep soccer interesting so just forget it..hahaha

By the way, the Bengals lost by 10 points. So i must say i am quite a suay *** likw wilman..hahahahahahhaha

First experience of the NFL..and maybe the last....

The Americans are really great entrepreuners...before the match (i guess 3 hrs before), pple will go around blocking off unmanned plots of land and the lots will become their parking garages. They will then charge pple without parking passes into the stadiums $20-$30 per vehicle!! Really dua tan man...hahahaa...imagine the attendance to be 65000.....like Old Trafford....

If they do this in singapore...they mught be spending the night in jail....haha

Riots and people who don't think

Guys, imagine approving the permit for a protest march by NEO-NAZIS who wanted to protest against the black gangs.

Well....it happened where else, but in the state of Ohio where the last of the Ku Klux Klan is still here and race seems to be a touchy subject (read Hispanics Vs KKK).

And it erupted .....the blacks took control of the situation and drove the march to be cancelled and instead they decided to have a riot of their own...looting ...burning houses...ripping fences...
Yes..it is happening as i am typing...but it is in Toledo...not too far from my county.

I only have 1 thing to say...STUPID.

To quote the TV reporter," It is part of being an American, to be able to have free speech and do whatever we want (freedom)"

Sorry, i will rather be a part of Singapore then. I rather be "free-speechless" than to be killed by a stray stone or bullet walking on the street.

People keep complaining that the Singapore Govt is too strict...a tyrant...too many restrictions...
Oh come on...I've not even been to downtown Cincinnati, Ohio since i came to USA 3 months ago. I was told that it's not safe to be there ALONE....ESPECIALLY I AM ASIAN. The local whites (from west chester) also seldom go down there and usually go in groups and get out of there after dark.

Well..we don't get that in Singapore do we?

I always think that people who speak against the Singapore Govt don't have a good overview of the overall situation.

Cars too expensive? Govt increase COE quota...price drop...people who bought car earlier become unhappy.
Tax tax and tax?? People become unhappy when govt raise GST from 3% to 5%? Brace yourself for this fact...the FREE USA, STATE OF OHIO charges 6.5% GST. And the people don't get New Singapore Shares or Economic Reform Shares.
Public transport in singapore not on time....They don't even have taxis here on the streets. You will have to call for one and it's damn expensive.
Let's don't even start on income taxes.
Govt jailing 2 guys who wrote racist stuff on their blogs. Hey...they are stupid and they deserve it.

So you guys out there decide.

Free speech = riots = home after dark =curfew = racial fights
Controlled speech = safer home = wandering around Orchard at 3 am = little racial enemity.

Note that i said little. It cannot be totally eradicated but it can be tempered down to a controllable level.
