I miss reservist...

Yes...i miss army...in fact i miss reservist....especially when reservist can be so much fun with all the missions and the flankings and the rifle and ammo and the GUYS.

One thing i miss most are the GUYS.

How often can you find frens so close that the first words that greet u in the morning has something to do with the private area of either urself or the opposite sex?
hahahahahaha...not that i miss that....but i can surely welcome some chinese and hokkien in this foreign land......how i wish i can speak hokkien to those cute and pretty ang mo school gals (16? 17?) who can play soccer as well as we can!...i think they are better as a team...sorry HAHAHA Utd....we are owned...

Laziness

Laziness sets in and i just dun feel like blogging...but hey...this is the only way to spend the time while waiting for the socer match to finish downloading from Bit torrent...so...haha

There was a pasar malam (Union Bash) last week...and i went too....since it was just next to my hotel. Plenty of ang mos....like ants ..hahaha...frankly speaking...i was intimidated....hahah

Well..i managed to survive....snap some photos and enjoy the live performace of the band they have on stage. Din stay long though as it was frankly quite boring.

I learnt something...nearly everything is boring when u are alone...hahah...minus sleeping and showering and shitting and wat have yous.ahahha

And oh...i will be moving to my apartment on Monday...shiok...can cook alr....hahaha....but the microwave dinners so cheap...i think i will live on them for 6 months....hahaha...cheap and nice..

I miss soccer.....

How i miss soccer...
The feeling of making an interception...
The feeling of chasing the ball and not feeling tired...
The feeling of releasing your striker to score a goal...
The feeling of taking the ball and killing it on first touch...
The feeling of controlling the ball and move it whichever way you want it to go...
The feeling of friends gathering around talking about practically everything after soccer...

No...i don't miss the feeling of scoring because i don't like doing it...
Besides, i am more of a passer type of player than a scorer...
I feel better when i make a good pass and he scores...
I feel better when i break down the opposition's attack through good reading of the game instead of using brute force...
I feel better with the sacred size 5 ball under my feet then pumping it up just for the sake of doing it...
I am not a conventional defender....but my friends don't allow me to play defensive midfielder too....

For now...i will be contented if i can play a game of soccer....
Or at least show some soccer on TV....

I wonder how games like baseball can be counted as sports...u just stand and watch the ball fly by...
Golf....you hit the ball and walk....
I don't mind American Football though...i had always been a fan of American Football...they concentrate on teamwork...and great passes...

And just for info...Americans don't know what the heck is Badminton...they thought it is tennis.....

Back from Cincinnati Mills...

I am back..and it is a big shopping mall....something like Suntec....maybe bigger...and more bargains than Suntec.
It is so big that i got impatient pushing my shopping cart from my grocery shopping and take everything by hand so that i can walk back to my car faster.

This is one of the many entrances. Brings you to Pro-Bass ...where they sell fishing rods....boats....YES BOATS...and guess wat.....Hunting guns...woohoo.....




Since i had not have my lunch, i decided to go to their foodcourt and have my lunch. This is the store i ordered from...


Chinese pple selling Japanese food..hahaha...their teriyaki chicken is not exactly japanese also..taste more like chinese food..hahahaha...
And they don't give spoons. They only give forks. I am tired of asking for spoons...so i ate with only a fork.....


Saw this in the restroom...this machine sells perfume, lipbalm, gum...and no....they don't dispense condoms.


Bought alot of stuff...bought food for one week..hopefully can last me for one week though...

Yeah!! It's the end of the week!

I will be making my way to the largest mall in the area tmr afternoon...Cincinnati Mills!
Well..maybe i will catch a movie ...maybe not....watch alone very sian....

Anyway gas (or petrol) is $2.40 usd a gallon..and i am paying for it.....first...ghahahaha...will claim it from company.....so....

It has been a long time since i last blogged. So many things has happened from then and now. Graduated from NTU, rejected from a few jobs, went for a few interviews, NTU "Selina" never reply me...blar blar blar...

And i had my "GRAD TRIP".
Of course, which graduate doesn't have a grad trip. So being a common man in the street, i too went for not one but two!

First up is the ever friendly neighbouring "cheap and good and everything is free" Johore Bahru.ahhahaha...not the best place to go for a "Grad Trip" but hey, i got a chop on my $50 for 5 years passport okies. Damn...everything is getting more expensive....before 1st April..you can get "10 years worth" of passport. I am just a month late, and i got a big "discount"...$50 for 5 years. I got cheated...ahhaahhaa

To make up for the "cheated" feeling, i decide to make full use of the passport. So i went "overseas" for the 2nd time in a week. Batam. The "Riau Islands, the Spice Islands, the watever islands..."

This time i took my camera there as the security over there is better. Should be better la...at least there is no reports of "armed" robbery,....or should i say"AIDS needle Robbery".


What's wrong with these people? Boarding is 5-10 mins away and there is no free gift for early birds!

The 'Batam Fast' boat, named Jet Raider. It was so fast that Bobo was seasick...and he is a dragonboater....sia suay...please don't say you are from the commandos.

With the guys, what can we do, except play dai di. We are all experts....except Bobo....again....
